The United Nations considers the punishment of stoning and walling people by the Taliban “cruel”.

After the announcement of the Taliban’s Supreme Court on the death sentence, stoning, whipping and destruction of the wall above the criminals, UN experts say that the punishment of the criminals by the Taliban is “inhumane and brutal”.

Expressing their concern about this decision of the Taliban, they said in a statement that they are afraid of the “brutal” and “vile” nature of these Taliban punishments for criminals.

According to them, stoning people or burying them under the wall and other cruel, inhuman and degrading punishments are against international laws.
