Ahmadullah Motaghi, who is also the head of information and culture of the Taliban in Herat, said in a message to Radio Azadi last Wednesday (October 18) that some of these people who were not injured were identified by the residents of these villages. and passing lawyers.

She said:
“Those who are the real victims have not complained and have not said what they lack, although in some districts it has been said that a number of other provinces have come to the place, set up tents and count themselves among the earthquake victims.”

Motaghi did not say anything about the number of these people, but added: the series of aid to the main earthquake victims continues.

Since October 7th, several strong earthquakes have occurred in Herat, in one of which at least 1,500 people have been killed and nearly 2,000 others have been injured. About 4,500 houses were completely or partially destroyed.
