The Jamiat Muslim Ulama of India demanded to stop the screening of the anti-Islamic film “Kerala Story”.
The film, which purports to show that thousands of girls from Kerala were converted to Islam and forced to join ISIS in West Asia, has sparked strong protests in the southern state.
The Jamiat Ulema Muslima of India expressed their protest in this regard to the Supreme Court and demanded an order to stop the release of the film that was supposed to be shown on May 5th (Friday 15th of Farudin).
The group stated that the film humiliates the entire Muslim community, especially the Muslim youth, and endangers the lives and livelihood of the entire Muslim community in Kerala, India.
At the same time, one of the judges of the court has rejected the request of “Kapil Sibal”, the senior lawyer of Jamiat Muslim Ulama of India, for urgent consideration of this request.
In the submitted petition, it is stated that this film, if allowed to be screened, will cause hatred and enmity between different sections of the society.
In the released trailer of this film, it is shown that Hindu and Christian girls are seduced by their Muslim friends to convert to Islam and are forced to join ISIS.
