The US Secretary of State said that 85% of the Afghan people are against the restrictions imposed by the interim government on women and girls. They want equal access to education for women.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, responded to this meeting and said that the rights of Afghan women have nothing to do with America. He emphasized: America must realize its responsibility for the war in Gaza and stop supporting the killers of Palestinian women and children. He said that America does not recognize the rights of women and children. Mr. Mujahid had previously said that the world should not interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.
