The deputy governor of the Islamic Emirate and another person were killed in a suicide attack in Badakhshan province.

A suicide attack occurred around 8:15 this morning (Tuesday, 16th of Juza) in the new city of Faizabad, Badakhshan.
It is said that in this suicide attack, two people, including Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, the deputy of the Islamic Emirate and the head of this province, and one other person were killed and six others were injured.

Muazuddin Ahmadi, the head of information and culture of the Islamic Emirate in Badakhshan, says that a suicide bomber targeted the car carrying Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, the deputy governor and head of Badakhshan province.

No person or group has claimed responsibility for this attack.
