Spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Afghan soil is used by terrorist groups against Pakistan.
In part of Ms. Baloch’s words, relations with the Taliban government have become “more serious” due to differences over the fight against the Pakistani Taliban known as “TTP” and the decision to deport Afghans who were “illegally” residing in Pakistan.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the ministry, told reporters at a weekly press conference in Islamabad: Of course, there is a challenge that we are facing, and the challenge is that Afghanistan’s soil is being used by terrorist groups against Pakistan.
The spokesperson of Pakistan’s foreign ministry added: “Therefore, our foreign policy reflects our security concerns and we have told it clearly to the Afghan authorities and asked them to take immediate and effective measures against these terrorist groups.”
She said: “Pakistan has made every effort to maintain positive relations with Afghanistan and in this regard we are interacting on all matters of interest.”
She added: Despite our mistrust and despite our serious concerns, Pakistan has maintained its communication channel with Afghanistan
