Referring to the insecurity of the last two years in this country, Masoud Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to America, says that despite the withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan, the danger of terrorism still exists in this country.

Islamabad and Washington have decided to eliminate the current threats through cooperation in the fight against terrorism, Radio Pakistan reported on Monday, 23 Samblah, quoting Khan.

Although he did not provide further details on US-Pakistan cooperation, he added that Islamabad and the US “share a responsibility to lead Afghanistan towards stability.”

According to him, the stability of the entire region depends on the situation in Afghanistan, and Pakistan and the United States have been able to maintain bilateral security cooperation between the two countries in the last two years.

Massoud Khan also stated that the Pakistani Taliban are targeting the citizens of this country and said: Since the withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan, we have lost more than 1500 people.

It should be noted that following the failure of the peace talks between the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and the government of this country and the announcement of the end of the temporary ceasefire at the end of February last year, the number of attacks by the armed forces of the Pakistani Taliban has increased sharply in recent months.

Senior Pakistani security officials came to Kabul to discuss with the Afghan Taliban about reducing these attacks and preventing the Pakistani Taliban from using Afghan soil to attack targets inside Pakistan. But it seems that these didobazides did not have tangible results
