Protest Statement from Refugees in the Park*

We, the refugees who started our protests since July 28, have not received any response from any responsible organization or institution. No meeting has been held with us and our voices have been completely ignored.

In this corner of the park, women, children and men live in very difficult and inhumane conditions. Lack of basic medical aid, food shortages, lack of proper shelter and severe lack of sanitation are just a few examples of the daily problems we face.

Unfortunately, the United Nations and other international institutions, despite being fully aware of our situation, have not taken any effective action and continue to watch our suffering in silence.
