Pakistani official: Afghanistan and Pakistan should cooperate to promote peace and development in the region

The head of Pakistan’s “Jamaat-e-Islami” party, in a meeting with the foreign minister of the Afghan government, said that the two countries should cooperate to promote peace and development in the region.

Pakistani media “Nation” stated that Sirajul Haq, the head of Jamaat-e-Islami Party of Pakistan, had a telephone conversation with Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motaghi about the political situation of the two countries.

According to this report, the two sides emphasized the necessity of cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan to improve the relations between the two countries.

Sirajul said that Afghanistan and Pakistan are “brother” countries and have a bright future.

He further emphasized that the two countries should work together to promote peace and development in the region.

It is said that the foreign minister of the Taliban will visit Pakistan in the near future to strengthen relations.
