The first export development exhibition of Panjshir emerald, agricultural products and handicrafts was opened today in Panjshir.

Panjshir Emerald Export Development Exhibition was opened with the presence of Alhaji Hafez Mohammad Agha Hakim, Governor of Panjshir, Mohammad Yunus Akhundzadeh, Minister of Rural Development and Revitalization of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, scholars, national and international businessmen and local officials of Panjshir Emirate. .

This exhibition was opened by Baqai Exhibition Services Company in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in close coordination with the official of Panjshir province for three days in Dashtak area of ​​Annaba district of Panjshir.

In the opening ceremony of this exhibition, the governor of Panjshir considered the establishment of such exhibitions as the ultimate goal of encouraging national and international businessmen and the growth and development of the country’s economy.

He clarified that currently 1200 emerald mines have been registered in Panjshir, out of which 500 mines are active with mining permits and thousands of native workers are working in them daily.

He said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is trying to introduce Afghanistan as an export country at the world level by investing in the country’s mines, and called the Panjshir emerald pure and famous at the world level.

Governor of Panjshir also asked the national and international businessmen, especially the leadership of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, to make serious efforts in the technical extraction of mines.

He emphasized that according to the statistics, since the beginning of Panjshir emerald extraction, more than 60 thousand carats of Panjshir emerald worth more than four million dollars have been sold.

The Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development also called the return of the Islamic Emirate to power as the end of the occupation in the country and emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has basic superstructure and infrastructure plans for the population of the country and the implementation of JCPOA. Qoshtipeh agreement and railway projects as means. He mentioned the big national project.

Homayoun Afghan, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Mines, said that I am happy to participate in this ceremony where the country’s precious and semi-precious stones, especially Panjshir, will be exhibited.

He clarified that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has been able to invest seven to eight billion dollars in large national mines and tens of billions of Afghanis since coming to power with its efforts and economic strategies. and the contract of 70 small mines.

He said that Afghanistan’s mines are estimated from one trillion to three trillion dollars.

This exhibition is open from today, the 20th of Cancer, in Panjshir and will be open until the 22nd of Cancer.

Meanwhile, Maulvi Aminul Haq Sahibi, head of industry and trade of Panjshir, stated that the purpose of holding this exhibition is to develop the export of precious and semi-precious stones, display handicrafts and culture of Panjshir, and develop livestock farms and agricultural products. Display of agricultural products of medicinal plants of traditional medicine in this province and encourage people to use domestic products and attract investment.
