Masoud called the dispute between the representatives of Afghanistan and Pakistan in the United Nations “clear aggression” to Afghanistan.

The leader of the National Resistance Front reacted to the verbal disagreement between the representatives of Afghanistan and Pakistan in the meeting of the Security Council.

Referring to the “unnecessary” interventions of countries in Afghanistan, Ahmad Massoud said: “In the meeting of the Security Council, sinister intentions and open aggression against our country were revealed once again.

Naseer Ahmad Faiq and Mounir Akram, the representatives of Afghanistan and Pakistan, got into a verbal conflict with each other at the Security Council meeting about Afghanistan.

Mr. Faiq, the head of Afghanistan’s delegation to the United Nations, in response to the speech of the Pakistani ambassador at the Security Council meeting, said that some countries have a dual approach to terrorism. On the one hand, they consider themselves victims of terrorism, but on the other hand, they support terrorism in Afghanistan.

Munir Akram, Pakistan’s representative in the United Nations, said that Mr. Faiq is not a representative of the Afghan government and his credentials as a representative of his country are in question.

Mr. Akram criticized the Security Council’s invitation to give a speech and called it unusual.

This issue has been met with a wide response from activists and users of social networks.

Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front, wrote on X social network: “The history of our country is full of unnecessary interference from far and near countries.” In the recent meeting of the United Nations, sinister intentions and open aggression against our country were once again revealed.

Mr. Massoud further wrote that Mr. Faiq has the support of all the people of Afghanistan and represents the people, the interests of the country and Afghanistan.

The leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan also emphasized: In the presence of such open interference and aggression, unity is the key to our victory.

Despite repeated attempts by the Taliban to win Afghanistan’s seat at the United Nations, the delegation remains under the control of diplomats appointed by the previous government
