Handing over Afghanistan to the Taliban caused women to return to zero

A number of women’s rights activists say on the second anniversary of the Taliban’s domination of the country that the handing over of Afghanistan to the Taliban by the United States caused women to return to zero.

Maryam Maarouf Arvin, women’s rights activist and director general of the Purple Saturdays movement, said today (Thursday, August 17) that we do not have such a thing as “collapse”. On August 15, we actually witnessed a shameful and shameful “surrender” that took place with the collusion of America and the Taliban against the people of Afghanistan.

Arvin says that this handover made Afghan women start fighting for their basic rights from scratch and it is a “terrible nightmare” for women.

Referring to the recent women’s protests, Mrs. Arvin says that the clear message of these movements is: “We do not accept the Taliban, the Taliban and extremist thinking, and we no longer want to be oppressed because of our gender, ethnicity, and language.” and religion.”

According to Arvin, women and girls have lost all their rights and freedoms and now they want social justice and equality and they want their rights from A to Z.

He says that Afghan women and girls have spent the worst and most unpleasant days of their lives in these two years. He emphasizes: I am inside Afghanistan and I cannot describe what the women of Afghanistan are suffering, the atmosphere of Afghanistan is full of despair among women.
