Azadi Front confirmed the killing of Akmal Amir
In its fourth announcement, the Afghanistan Liberation Front has confirmed the death of Akmal Amir in connection with the bloody conflict between members of this front and Taliban fighters in South Salang.
This front has said in a statement after the attack on Sunday, 27th of Hamal, that the Taliban, in addition to abusing the prisoners of the slain Azadi Front, have also disrespected their bodies.
Based on the declaration, the Taliban, by not allowing the religious rituals to be performed on the bodies of the dead people of the Azadi Front, were apparently trying to divert people from joining the resistance against them. Azadi Front said that this issue had the opposite result.
The declaration states: “The Freedom Front, fully believing in its rightful struggle against the oppression and bigotry of the Taliban, once again emphasizes and assures the continuation of this holy path until the complete liberation of the country from the Taliban’s hatred, that the revenge of every drop of blood of the martyrs of the holy armed struggle and suffering And the torment of the defenseless people under the usurping rule of the Taliban will take away from this hellish flow and especially their local mercenaries.”
It should be mentioned that Akmal Amir and Basir Andrabi, two of the commanders of Azadi Front, were killed in an armed conflict in Salang district of Parwan with a number of their companions last week. The Azadi Front had not confirmed the death of Akmal Amir.
