Arrest of ten journalists in the last three weeks by government forces.
The Federation of Journalists and Media Organizations of Afghanistan has said in a statement that in the last three weeks, ten journalists have been arrested in the center and provinces of the country by the security forces without providing information and details. Also, a female YouTuber named Kabul Fan was mysteriously murdered.
In this announcement, it is stated that out of the ten arrested journalists, five journalists have been released again, but the other five journalists are still in detention.
In addition to the release of the five arrested journalists, the Federation of Afghan Journalists and Media Organizations has asked the security agencies to follow up the cases related to journalists through the Media Complaints and Violations Commission and not to hide their accusations.
