Together with President Ashraf Ghani we had a meeting with Sec Pompeo, Sec of NATO and German Foreign Minister on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) in Feb 2020. Pompeo was doing everything to finalize the disgraceful Doha deal as soon as possible. As for his relations with us he would try to find needle in the stack of hay to blame the constitutional Republic & portray it as an obstacle for peace. In-spite of guessing the geopolitical scheme he was engineering it was still puzzling for us to know why he was so in hurry to surrender & bow to terrorists. We gave him a fact-based presentation on existence of an eco-system providing political and virtual platform for terrorists, fanatics, radical extensionists & trans-national criminals. He acted mega-knowledgeable & arrogant. It seemed as if the Taliban as his new unconventional allies were mis-understood & he had discovered them afresh. When Talibs took Kabul per Doha deal please Google search and see who congratulated them first. The Biden Administrations’ Doha deal created a precedent which will inspire death seeking extremists everywhere. Doesn’t matter how they try to downplay the disgraceful Doha deal & inject 60,000,0000 US$ per-week to influence & remote control the Talibs the blow back is inevitable. It is a matter of time. The developments in the wider region can’t be contextualized without factoring in Afghanistan. The example of Taliban in Afghanistan has to be reversed else consider opening several other offices in Doha & draft several more infamous Doha deals.
