Afghan Taliban Reject Pakistan’s “Unreasonable Demands” in Istanbul Talks: Report by Fahim sajjadi
Sources familiar with the ongoing negotiations between Afghanistan and Pakistan in Istanbul have told Nabowg Network that the Afghan Taliban delegation has presented its demands to the Pakistani side; however, according to these sources, Pakistan’s demands are not reasonable.
The sources say the Pakistani delegation has asked the Taliban’s Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to relocate the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) into Afghanistan and ensure that no future security incidents occur inside Pakistan.
According to the sources, Pakistan’s security challenges have a long historical background, and no country can be expected to resolve the internal security problems of another nation.
The sources further state that the Afghan Taliban delegation proposed to the mediators that Pakistani soil and airspace must not be used by any foreign country or by ISIS against Afghanistan. However, Pakistan has reportedly rejected this proposal.
