National Resistance Council The Taliban is an illegal administration and does not have the right to draft a constitution
In response to the Taliban’s decision to draft the constitution, the Council of Resistance for the Rescue of Afghanistan said that the Taliban, as an illegal and illegitimate administration at the domestic and international levels, do not have the right to draft the constitution and change it.
In this announcement, this council adds: Any manipulation of the approved constitution of Afghanistan in the current situation by the illegitimate government has no basis and is actually an attempt to strengthen and legitimize terrorist and extremist actions.
In a statement, this anti-Taliban council pointed out the absence of Shiites in the composition of the Ulema Council of the provinces and said that the Taliban have adopted a policy of “discrimination and elimination” towards the brotherly tribes of Afghanistan, especially Shiites. It is on their agenda.
The Council of Resistance for the Salvation of Afghanistan, based in Turkey, said: “Discrimination against the followers of Jafari and Ismaili jurisprudence in the multicultural and multinational society of Afghanistan, despite the officiality of Jafari jurisprudence, is not only unfair and immoral, but can also lead to to tensions and incompatibilities”.
The Afghan Shia Ulema Council has called the composition of the Ulema Councils announced by Hebatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban for the seven provinces of the country, “unfair” and “far from fair”.
This is despite the fact that the leader of the Taliban has recently issued separate decrees for the establishment of ulama councils in the provinces of Laghman, Sarpol, Ghor, Daikundi, Maidan Wardak, Bamyan and Nuristan, and it is seen in this decree that none of the Shia scholars in these councils have membership
