Taliban Governor in Parwan: We Do Not Recognize the International Criminal Court((Report by Ahmad Soheil Parto))

Mohammad Idris Anwari, the Taliban governor in Parwan, said that the group does not recognize the International Criminal Court (ICC). In response to the ICC’s arrest warrants for the Taliban leader and chief justice, he added, “We do not accept the decisions of this court.”

In a speech in Parwan, Mohammad Idris Anwari said: “In our view, in our thinking, in our policy, such a court does not exist at all.”

He described the ICC’s ruling as meaningless.
