Local sources reported that at least two rockets were fired towards Kabul Airport. According to the sources, these rockets were launched around 8:00 PM on Sunday, 29th of Mezan, from the Qasaba area towards Kabul International Airport.

Local sources reported that at least two rockets were fired towards Kabul Airport. According to the sources, these rockets were launched around 8:00 PM on Sunday, 29th of Mezan, from the Qasaba area towards Kabul International Airport.
The sources said that the fired rockets were of the “Missile” type. Although it is still unclear whether the rockets hit the airport, the sources added that Taliban military vehicles are patrolling around the airport.
Currently, Taliban Rangers are patrolling the mountains of Qasaba. The Taliban have not commented on this incident so far. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Last year in the month of Saur, three rockets hit parts of Kabul Airport. At least three administrative and technical staff members of the airport and several passengers were injured in that incident.
