Berlin, April 19, 2025 – This evening at approximately 5:50 PM local time, a vehicle caught fire on Germany’s Highway A39 while traveling from Frankfurt toward Berlin. The incident occurred on the section of the highway approaching the Berlin exit.
Eyewitnesses report that emergency services, including police and fire brigades, arrived at the scene promptly. The highway was completely closed for around 20 minutes as fire crews worked to extinguish the flames and secure the area. About 15 minutes later, traffic flow resumed on the affected route.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or casualties as of this report. The cause of the fire remains unknown and is expected to be investigated by authorities.
