Call for Rescue: Qadriah is not a Criminal, but a Victim
We call upon all international institutions and organizations to take urgent, immediate, and effective action to save Qadriah—a woman who is not a criminal but a victim of unjust violence. The Taliban, by handing her over to her father, have deliberately exposed her to the serious threat of stoning and violent death.
We strongly condemn this violent and criminal action by the Taliban and urgently appeal to Amnesty International, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), and the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to take immediate and collective action. We demand that they provide refuge for Qadriah and facilitate her safe transfer to a country that upholds human rights and offers sanctuary.
We call on all human rights organizations, governments committed to human rights, social activists, and the global conscience to raise their voices and take immediate steps to protect this defenseless woman from the imminent threat she faces.
Through this call, we assert that Qadriah is neither a criminal nor a threat; she is a woman who has been a victim of gradual violence and abuse. She deserves support, protection, and a life of safety. We also urge all respected media outlets to amplify Qadriah’s voice and raise awareness, ensuring international organizations intervene to prevent any further crimes against her.
