On Sunday, July 6th, 2025 — which coincides with the Day of Ashura, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (A.S.) — a peaceful demonstration in support of the Palestinian people was held in the Schöneberg district of Berlin.

German human rights activists, members of the Palestinian diaspora, and concerned citizens marched together in solidarity, calling for an immediate ceasefire and an end to the violence in Gaza. The atmosphere remained entirely calm, dignified, and peaceful throughout the event.
