More than 3800 immigrants from Iran and Pakistan returned to Afghanistan in one day
The Taliban’s Ministry of Refugees and Returnees says that 3,884 refugees from Iran and Pakistan entered Afghanistan in one day.
According to the announcement of this ministry, 3 thousand 399 immigrants from Iran voluntarily returned to Afghanistan.
The ministry has said that these migrants entered the country through the borders of Islam Qala in Herat Province and Silk Bridge in Nimroz Province.
The Ministry of Migration of the Taliban has said in another announcement that another 485 migrants who were forcibly expelled from Pakistan entered the country from Islam Qala and Torkham borders yesterday.
The ministry says that among these migrants, needy people have been identified and have received food and non-food aid from the International Organization for Migration.
This year, the process of deportation and return of Afghan immigrants from Iran and Pakistan has continued regularly.
Until the beginning of this year, more than one million Afghan immigrants have been expelled from these two countries and entered the country.
