Hanif Atmar, the former foreign minister of the Afghan government, supported the statements of Abbas Stanekzai, the deputy foreign minister of the interim government of the Taliban, regarding the non-acceptance of Durand as the official border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Stankzai said he does not accept Durand and does not accept passport checks and visas at border crossings.

The deputy foreign minister of the interim government said that Durand divided Afghanistan into two halves, and this is the same hypothetical line that the “British” drew on the hearts of Afghans.

In response to the forced deportation of Afghan immigrants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa states and tribal areas, he said that this land is the land of Afghans and it will be free one day.
