The coordination meeting of border authorities of Afghanistan and Iran was held in Bandar Islam, Herat Castle
The border authorities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the country of Iran held a coordination meeting on border issues and strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries in Bandar Islam Qala, Herat province.
This meeting was chaired by Brigadier Mohammad Rahim Khadim, the commander of the 5th Border Brigade of the 207th Division Army Corps, and a delegation of border guards of this province was held at the province’s commissary headquarters. The Islamic Republic of Iran shared each of Colonel Mohammad Reza “Bayat” the Deputy Representative of the Border Guard and Colonel Shida the First Class Deputy of the Border Guard of that country.
In this meeting, while exchanging views on strengthening cooperation and border issues between the two Muslim countries, they also discussed solving the problems and challenges ahead.
Also, the border authorities of the Islamic Emirate assured the Iranian side that they are ready for any joint cooperation and establishing good relations with the neighboring countries.
Also, the Iranian delegation expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation of the Border Guard Forces of the Ministry of National Defense.
