Islamic Emirate to Pakistan: Relating every issue to another country is not the solution

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, says that the recent attack in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has nothing to do with “Afghanistan and was not carried out by this country”.

Zabihullah Mujahid said in an audio message broadcast on national television that the site of yesterday’s attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is hundreds of kilometers away from Afghanistan.

The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate added that if information from Pakistan is shared with him, they will investigate this incident.

However, he emphasized that Pakistani soldiers should prevent such incidents from happening in their territory.

These statements are made while the base of Pakistan’s security forces was targeted by a car bomb attack and as a result at least 23 soldiers of this country were killed.

Tehreek-e-Jihad Islami Pakistan has claimed responsibility for this attack
