Haqqani: Foreigners call the Taliban the destroyer of Afghanistan, but we have shown that we are constructive
Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Acting Minister of Interior of the Taliban, says that before this group regained power, “foreigners” called the Taliban “the destroyer of Afghanistan”, but this group “showed that it is the builder of the country by implementing development projects.”
Haqqani made these statements on Sunday, during the opening ceremony of the construction of a mosque in Paktia province.
