In his speech at the UN General Assembly, the President of Tajikistan, Imam Ali Rahman, mentioned the current situation in Afghanistan.
He said that creating an inclusive government, participation of all ethnic groups, political and social groups and inter-Afghan dialogue will be the only way to achieve peace and stability in Afghanistan.
The president of Tajikistan emphasized that security and regional cooperation in Central Asia depends on the situation in Afghanistan.
Imam Ali Rahman stated that Afghanistan is still in a complicated political and economic situation after two years and said: This country is experiencing the biggest humanitarian crisis.
He separately asked the international community to increase its humanitarian aid for the people of Afghanistan, and Tajikistan is ready to cooperate in this field.
In a part of his statement, the president of Tajikistan also mentioned drug trafficking and expressed his concern that drug trafficking from Afghanistan has increased in the last two years.
