Pakistan’s warning to military operations in Afghanistan; Mujahid: The Taliban will respond to it

Anwar Haq Kakar, the Prime Minister of the Interim Government of Pakistan yesterday, in a conversation with the Voice of America, in response to the question whether Pakistan will take military action in Afghanistan if needed, implied that Pakistan will act at a certain time. The army will intervene.

Anwar Haq Kakar added: Pakistan has the right to defend itself. We will certainly do whatever it takes to protect our country and our people. I will not go into the details of what kind of operation it will be. But when the time comes, we will decide what to do. What should be done and what can be done.”

However, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Taliban, unaware of the statements of the Prime Minister of the interim government of Pakistan, says without naming Pakistan that if military action is taken on our Afghan soil, it will respond to it.

He adds: I have not heard that the Prime Minister of Pakistan said; But in the event of a military attack on the territory of Afghanistan, we will respond to protect it, and our advice to Pakistan is to resolve its issues inside that country and refrain. From unnecessary slander
