The hunger strike of Mina Rafiq and Heda Khomeosh, women’s rights activists from Afghanistan, in front of Norway has entered the sixth day.

Mina Rafiq says that she came to the strike site today with a new slogan and asks the Norwegian authorities if September 11th is new or not.

Rafiq asks Naravi not to tell the Taliban and to recognize them anonymously.

Tamna Zaryab Periani and several other women have also started a strike in Cologne, Germany.

Periyani was recently transferred to the hospital due to his deteriorating health condition, but he has returned to a sit-in tent.

The strikers are demanding the recognition of gender apartheid in Afghanistan and political and financial support from the Taliban.

A number of women activists in other countries, including Pakistan, have also gone on hunger strike in solidarity with these women.
