Maulvi Qiamuddin Hanif, head of the Panjshir Ulema Council, called the behavior of the Taliban fighters towards the residents of this province “un-Islamic and cruel” in a public meeting.

This meeting was held in Dara district of Panjshir province with the presence of a number of senior officials including the governor, the security commander and the intelligence chief of the Taliban.

Maulvi Qiamuddin addressed the senior officials of the Taliban and said that if the “tyranny” of the fighters of this group is not stopped, it will also climb the “mountain”.

Meanwhile, Maulvi Masihullah, head of the Taliban jihadi school in Panjshir, criticized the group’s usurpation of people’s homes and public places in this province.

He clarified: Extortion is blasphemy, and whoever usurps people’s property, his prayer will not be accepted.

He called the current situation in Panjshir unacceptable and asked the Taliban authorities to stop the arbitrary actions of their people.

These two are the main residents of Panjshir.

It should be noted that the Taliban have arrested hundreds of civilians under various pretexts since their rule in Panjshir
