Taliban: Requesting relations with countries does not mean accepting their interference in internal affairs

The administrative deputy of the prime minister of the Taliban government announced that requesting relations with countries does not mean accepting their interference in internal affairs.

Maulvi Abdulsalam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the prime minister of the Taliban government, said: We want good relations with the world, especially neighboring countries, but this does not mean that anyone should interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.

He added: “Thousands of people sacrificed themselves for the strengthening of the current Islamic system in Afghanistan, and thousands of others were severely tortured in prisons for years.”

Hanafi clarified: Afghans have given a crushing response to aggressors throughout history, and after that, if someone wants to attack Afghanistan, they will face a severe defeat and a crushing response.

He also stated about the issue of freedom of expression: We are not opposed to freedom of expression that does not conflict with the rules of Islam and national interests.

The administrative deputy of the Prime Minister of the Afghan government also noted that the authorities are trying to create unity and solidarity among the Afghan people and do not allow any person to cause division and discord
