On the eve of the movement of the Pakistani Taliban in the north; Pashtun Taliban settled in Badakhshan instead of Tajik Taliban
After the deadly attacks on the Taliban in Badakhshan and at the same time as the Pakistani Taliban moved in northern Afghanistan, sources from Badakhshan tell Afghan News 24 that the Pashtun Taliban have settled in Badakhshan instead of the Tajik Taliban.
According to these sources, dozens of Pashtun Taliban special forces vehicles have arrived in the city of Faizabad in the center of Badakhshan from the southern provinces and have taken Faizabad under their control after the Tajik Taliban were pushed aside.
The sources also add that the Pashtun Taliban have established checkpoints in different parts of Faizabad and even the local Taliban officials and Badakhshan district commanders do not have the courage to talk with the Pashtun Taliban.
According to sources, the Pashtun Taliban are now harassing ordinary citizens and have established absolute rule in this province.
