Taliban signed a contract to provide telecommunication services to remote areas with two private companies

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has signed a contract to provide telecommunication services to remote areas of the country with two private telecommunications companies, “Afghan Wireless” and “MTN”.

Today (Sunday, 14th of Joza), the Office of the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office has published a statement saying that the contract was signed in the presence of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the caretaker government of the Taliban and worth 365 million Afghanis.
