
The Afghanistan national youth football team defeated the Turkmenistan team twice and one in its first match in the under-20 championship of Central Asia.
This match was held this evening (Sunday, 31 Thor) in “Zeska” stadium in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
In this match, Afghanistan first beat the opponent with Farhad Alizadeh’s shot. But Turkmenistan immediately tied the game.
Turkmenistan also had a penalty kick in the first half. But Faisal Saeedkhel, the goalkeeper of Afghanistan, blocked this penalty.
Afghanistan’s leading goal was scored in the second half and the game ended with the result of two to one.
Afghanistan’s second match in this tournament will be held tomorrow at 4:30 pm Kabul time against Tajikistan, the host of this tournament.
