Situation in Afghanistan threat to security of region: Kazakh President
The president of Kazakhstan expressed his concern about the situation in Afghanistan at the meeting of the leaders of China and Central Asia. He said that the situation in Afghanistan is a threat to the security to the region.
“The situation in Afghanistan is still a threat to the security and stability of the region,” he said, emphasizing that the aid sent to the Afghan people should be done under the supervision of the United Nations.
In this meeting, the leaders of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were present and exchanged views on the expansion of cooperation.
