The Taliban do not allow girls to enter universities to go through the process of their documents
A number of girls who have graduated from the university say that the Taliban do not allow them to enter the university to process their educational documents.
These girls say that the Taliban told them to send their male family members’ academic documents to the university in order to proceed with the administrative work.
One of these girls, who studied at one of the public universities in Kabul and does not want to be named, says: “Girl graduates are not allowed to enter the university and proceed with their certificate and transcript work.”
He added: “It has been more than two weeks since the process of proceeding with the certificate and transcript work has started, but some students like me have not been able to send their brother or father to the university due to problems and their work has not progressed.”
On the other hand, one of the other girls also says: “Female students of Afghan universities who are banned from going to university, are not even allowed to go to university for a single day and continue their certificate and transcript work.”
He adds: “I haven’t been able to do my work for three weeks; Because my father has passed away and my brothers are working day and night to find a piece of bread and they don’t have time to deal with these issues.
They want the Taliban to allow the girls to go to the university to go through the process of their educational documents.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban has suspended the education of girls in public and private universities at the end of last year until further notice.
These decisions of the Taliban have caused widespread national and international reactions. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation and many countries of the world have emphasized on the opening of schools and universities for girls, but the Taliban have not responded to any of these demands.
