Mateen: Every organization should have a constitution from the heart, and according to it, we tried our best to solve the problems of journalists in coordination with other organizations and the federation.

Mateen: We actually went to deal with the problems of the journalists, of course, in coordination with the Federation, that is, it was not at the level of a declaration, our behavior was to be condemned.
Reporter: When did you become a member of the Federation?
Mateen: The issue of the federation is complicated, according to their principles, entities that do not have a license cannot be members, and they have the right, but with the cooperation of friends, we became a member of the federation, and then we received our license, according to the same special conditions.
Reporter: Can you tell me about the advantages of the federation?
Mateen: Membership in the federation means that institutions can gather in a coherent umbrella and have better efficiency and more power.
Reporter: Can you tell me your opinion about the status of media work and the right to access to information law?
Mateen: After the political change in general, the situation changed seriously in all levels and sectors of the system, and there were negative effects in the media and press sector as well.
Reporter: How many organizations are members of the federation and which organization is it?
Mateen: There are about ten organizations, the National House of Journalists, the Afghanistan Media Organization, the Journalist Insurance Fund, the Association of Women Journalists, the Organization of Women Journalists of Afghanistan, Kabul Press, and the Journalist Training Center.
Reporter: What do you think about the credibility of journalists towards institutions that protect journalists?
Mateen: Institutions that had high levels of corruption in the past have reduced the credibility of journalists towards all institutions, including newly established institutions.
Reporter: What is your opinion about the single umbrella project?
We support any project that benefits the media community
Reporter: What are the future plans of the National House?
Well, we have meetings with the authorities of the Islamic Emirates, and I want to say one point that some members of the Islamic Emirates have an unrealistic view of journalists, that is, they consider journalists to be trained in the West, and they should not have such a view of journalists. As a servant, he should see that the high officials of the Islamic Emirates have a good view of journalists.
