Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan,
met with Mr. Markus Potzel, the political deputy of the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan in Kabul.
In this meeting, there was an exchange of views on the current situation in Afghanistan, including the livelihood of the people and the need for continued aid.
In this meeting, both sides emphasized on reopening the doors of schools and universities for girls, the return of women to work and the start of a national dialogue to ensure lasting peace and stability in the country.
