Unknown armed men beat the father of a reporter in Parwan
Shirshah Rasouli, a former reporter of TOLOnews, claims that unknown gunmen entered their house at night and beat up his old father.
He wrote on his Twitter page that this incident took place on Friday night, 10th of August, in the vicinity of Jabal al-Sarj district of Parwan province.
Rasouli stated: “Men with guns, whose number probably reached more than 10 people, entered our house at night in Jabal al-Saraj district of Parwan province and severely beat my white-haired father and my patient.”
According to him, the armed people also looted some of their household items.
He accused the Taliban members of being involved in this incident and added that the armed men were armed with American weapons.
He said to the Taliban: “Where is the security that the emirate flaunts every day?”
The Taliban have not said anything about this so far.
It should be mentioned that armed robberies have increased in different parts of Parwan using the name and equipment of the Taliban since several months. But the Taliban have always denied these claims.
