attack on journalists gathering in Balkh; UNAMA: The violence must stop
The Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has condemned the explosion on a gathering of journalists in Balkh and said that the violence must stop.
UNAMA wrote in a tweet that Afghan journalists show great courage and should be protected.
On the other hand, Nasser Kanani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, has condemned this attack.
It should be noted that Tebian Cultural Center in Mazar-e-Sharif was targeted by an explosion today. A ceremony was held in this center to honor journalists.
According to the information of the Afghanistan Journalists Center, 15 journalists from different media were injured in this incident.
