A noticeable number of Pakistani diplomatic missions are closing

A noticeable number of Pakistani diplomatic missions are closing down due to the country’s financial crisis.
Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, orders the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country that the causes of economic problems are 15% of diplomatic missions and employees of Pakistan.

The order of the Prime Minister of Pakistan states: “In view of the current economic problems and saving to control the foreign exchange deficit, the Prime Minister is happy to form the National Austerity Committee.”
The National Austerity Committee had earlier suggested that Pakistan’s diplomatic expenses have increased by 15 percent. Shahbaz Sharif wrote in his ruling: “This should be achieved by reducing the number of foreign missions, reducing the number of officers and people stationed there and other appropriate things.”
Shahbaz Sharif launched the National Austerity Committee to save government expenses, but now senior leaders and cabinet members are unhappy with the government’s failure to implement the committee’s recommendations.
Pakistan is facing financial problems and the country’s foreign exchange reserves have decreased drastically. The government is now trying to reduce the additional costs of employees and government departments and reduce economic pressures.
