Pakistani ministers will not get salary from now on
As Pakistan suffers from a severe economic crisis, the country’s prime minister announced on Wednesday that ministers and advisers will no longer be paid.
Shahbaz Sharif said in a press conference that ministers pay for gas, water and electricity from their own pockets.
It is also decided that luxury cars will be taken back from the ministers and auctioned.
In addition, Pakistani ministers will no longer stay in five-star hotels on foreign trips.
