Khamenei: The Council of Experts should be the leader
The leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran called this parliament a symbol of the “fusion of the Republic and Islam” in a meeting with the representatives of the Assembly of Leadership Experts on the morning of Thursday, March 4.
Ali Khamenei said: There is no parliament in our regime that is as sensitive and important as this one. This means that this parliament both determines the leadership and guarantees the leadership.
He added: This issue means that the Assembly of Experts “must be careful and be a leader, and the conditions of leadership must be maintained.”
