compound in Kabul yesterday. In this incident, an international security guard was slightly injured, and the Taliban attacker was later found dead at a location outside the UN compound.

Both the United Nations and the Taliban have launched separate investigations into the matter. Abdul Mateen Qani, the spokesman for the Talibana s Interior Ministry, described the incident as a result of a one-way misunderstanding.
