The Ministry of Information and Culture is committed to preserving the heritage and cultural assets (tangible and non-tangible) and the growth and development of all mother tongue and native languages of Afghanistan.
Languages in a society are a means of communication and understanding. All the languages promoted in the country should be respected and developed without discrimination.
At present, more than (30) mother and native languages are promoted and usable in the country, and the ministry, as the responsible body, is committed to maintaining the diversity and improvement of all mother and native languages.
